Natālija Burišina is an English language educator and humanities researcher with extensive international experience in education and academia. She holds Master's degrees in Education and in the History of South Asian Cultures and Religions from the University of Latvia and Heidelberg University, Germany. Since 2005, she has been teaching English, working primarily with senior and mid-level professionals in public institutions and private companies. Her research interests include Latvian folklore and mythology, Ancient Indian culture and religion, anthropology, and ancient languages.

Natālija's research interests focus on Latvian folklore and mythology, the history of Ancient Indian culture and religions, anthropology, and ancient languages, including Sanskrit, Pāli, and Akkadian.
Since 2016, she has pursued systematic Sanskrit studies under distinguished scholars in India, Latvia, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Natālija regularly participates in international conferences and seminars, presenting her research findings, and is the author of several scholarly publications.
