Right of Withdrawal
1. What the right of withdrawal is
The service provider is SIA "GoodDay Nations", which operates under the trade name Eruditio Center for Lifelong Learning.
Right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days from the day the distance contract is concluded, without giving a reason.
The withdrawal period starts on the day the contract is concluded. The contract is concluded at the moment when the later of the two conditions has occurred: full payment for the service has been received and an electronic participation confirmation has been sent to the email address provided at registration. All currently purchasable paid services are subject to a single payment in full; partial payments are not offered. The withdrawal period does not start on the day the service is provided or materials are received.
2. How to exercise the right of withdrawal
Before the 14-day period expires, inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract by an unambiguous notice. You may:
- send it to hello@eruditio.lv;
- send it by post to Valērijas Seiles iela 1 k-4, Rīga, LV-1019;
- prepare it using the withdrawal form on this page.
You may use the form, but it is not mandatory. In the notice, clearly identify the contract and the service from which you are withdrawing.
You have the burden of proving that you sent the withdrawal notice within the prescribed period. Keep a copy of the email sent, a postal receipt or other proof of dispatch.
3. Effects of withdrawal
We refund payments received from you within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice. We make the refund using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction. We do not charge a fee for the refund.
If, at your express request, performance of the service began during the 14-day withdrawal period and at the time of withdrawal the service has been performed only in part, you must pay for the part performed up to the time of withdrawal. The charge is calculated proportionately against the full service price set out in the contract.
4. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
You lose the right of withdrawal in respect of a fully performed service only if, before performance of the service:
- you gave express consent to begin performance of the service during the 14-day withdrawal period;
- you acknowledged that you would lose the right of withdrawal as soon as the service had been fully performed;
- we have fully performed the service.
If the service has been performed only in part, the proportionate charge described in section 3 applies.
You also lose the right of withdrawal in respect of digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium if downloading or other receipt of the content began with your prior express consent and you acknowledged the loss of the right of withdrawal.
5. Withdrawal form
Below is the withdrawal form for a service contract provided for in the annex to Cabinet Regulation No. 255. Complete and send it only if you wish to withdraw from the distance contract. You may copy, print and send the form by email or post.
